NSW Campsites 2019

Our house was sold, our belongings re-homed or in storage, Christmas with family celebrated and all those overwhelming emotions swirling - excitement for the experience ahead, tears as we farewelled loved ones and astonishment that we were actually doing it.

We hit the road, with a rough itinerary. Let the adventure begin!

Cowra Showground - $20p/n power + water

Our first stop and an enjoyable one. The facilities were clean and large grassy area was great to camp on. We enjoyed learning about the town's history, especially our visit to the Japanese Gardens.

Molong Showground - $10p/n power + water

Great, open area with clean amenities. Golf course nearby if you have your own clubs, or just enjoy the afternoon in this peaceful spot.

On our way to the next destination we found Emu Logic.

Coonamble Showground - Donation (power + water unreliable)

Dusty but good for an overnighter. Toilets were unlocked and in ok condition but power and water turned off. Based on reviews it's luck of the draw but no complaints for a donation.

Boomi Caravan Park - $21p/n power + water

Loved our stay here. Dirt sites but adjacent to the amazing Artesian Pools and everyone was so friendly. A great little town and well worth the stop, read our blog post here.

On 9th January, we crossed the NSW/QLD Border and began the next part of our adventure.
